An exciting
educational opportunity awaits you on the campus
of an alternative Quaker High School. The
International Institute Ecological Agriculture (IIEA) will be working with the College Park Friends Educational Association
(CPFEA) to co-sponsor this Permaculture course. The CPFEA is a religious
nonprofit corporation, under the care of the Religious Society of Friends
(Quakers), located in the Sierra foothills. The CPFEA's mission is to steward
diverse learning communities and educational programs that weave together
spirituality, peace, sustainability, and social action. They strive to
make their lives and work embody a vision for peace and justice achieved
through learning and service.
This course will be taught
by IIEA regulars such as David Blume
and Bob Theis, as well as rotational
farming pioneer Joel Salatin and
other local experts.
